To new and returning visitors to our shores, céad míle fáilte!
The city of Galway has become a refreshing break for many tourists visiting Ireland. Smaller than Dublin (and better craic in our opinion), with a stunning coastline and pubs and restaurants aplenty, it’s a great place to start a new adventure.
Around this time of year, you’ll often see groups of tourists and international students roaming around the city, enjoying the spectacular weather and visiting many of our local landmarks
You’re very welcome!
Galway’s relatively small size means you can pack a lot of activities in without the need to rent a car or commute. Walking is the best way to get around the city. Many of the main areas are pedestrianised and the city centre is compact.
Galway has something for everyone, but the true beauty lies in the surrounding regions. If your feet are tired from walking or even if your head has been in the books for exam season, it’s not a bad idea to take a load off and let us whisk you away to some of the most popular sightseeing locations.
Group Fun
Galway Tour Company can be your travel partner. Our renowned drivers can transport your group to surrounding attractions, sharing local knowledge and insights in a unique and fun way.
We have catered for groups large and small over the years. From casual tourists to foreign exchange students and everything in between, our fleet of vehicles can accommodate most group sizes. However, for especially large group sizes (30+) we would suggest contacting a member of our team directly to avoid disappointment when booking.
Our focus is all about you having as much fun as possible. We take care of the travel logistics, so you don’t have to. For first-time visitors, our tours represent an opportunity to get a much more insightful view of our local attractions, making travel guidebooks seem plain in comparison.
We offer a range of half and full-day tours that start in Galway’s city centre. These include the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Cong & Kylemore Abbey. Our offices and pickup point are perfectly placed in town, allowing your group to enjoy a post-tour meal or pint in any of the dozens of pubs within a two mile radius.
